Man taken to local hospital after allegedly causing a disturbance in High Ridge business plaza

(Jefferson County) Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Dillon Plaza in High Ridge for a check the well-being of a male causing a disturbance.

Sheriff’s office spokesman Grant Bissell says the incident happened during the evening on February 10th.

Once deputies got the man under control they noticed the business they were in front of had just recently been burglarized.

According to Bissell, the suspect appeared to be under the influence of some sort of substance and possibly going through a mental health crises. The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The name of the suspect has not been released pending formal charges.
