Maple Grove art teacher named art educator of the year

(Jefferson County) A Maple Grove art teacher was recently awarded the 2023 Elementary Art Educator of the Year by the Missouri Art Education Association.
Northwest R-1 Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Hecktor says Linda Fowler was this year’s recipient.
Dr. Hecktor adds the recognition speaks volumes about the Northwest School District staff and how each educator is willing to go above and beyond their daily tasks.
Fowler is the second Northwest teacher to win the award, as House Springs Elementary teacher Michelle Howard has won the award as well.
