(Farmington) March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.
We spoke to Dr. Rafael Figueroa with Parkland Health Center in Farmington and Bonne Terre about this particular type of cancer.
Dr. Figuerora says colorectal cancer can be beaten but early detection is the key.
Colorectal cancer can also be screened through stool-based tests, visual exams and other methods.
