Mask Mandate Implemented at Farmington Civic Center

(Farmington, Mo.) With the recent uptick of COVID-19 cases in St. Francois county, city officials have had to mandate masks on city owned property among other things. One of those buildings is the Farmington Civic Center. City administrator Greg Beavers says he knows it’s tough to wear a mask while doing cardio, so that is not required, however, every where else in the civic center is.

Beavers tells us how they plan to mandate mask wearing in the civic center and other city owned properties.

Group fitness classes will also be moved to another location to allow for proper social distancing and childcare services at the civic center will not be available until further notice.
