MBCA Polls: 2/8/23

(Missouri) Many area schools are ranked in the latest state polls from the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association. For the boys in class one, South Iron remains number one while Bunker dropped a couple spots to number four. Steelville remains 6th in class three. In class four, Central dropped a spot to 5th and Potosi are receiving the 15th most votes. Hillsboro enters the polls for the first time this season with the 11th most votes in class five while Festus are one spot behind their rivals in class five.

For the girls, South Iron dropped one spot to 2nd in class one. In class two, St. Vincent moved up one spot to 5th. West County also jumped a spot in the class three polls to 7th and St. Pius enters the top ten in a tie for 8th in class three. Steelville are receiving the 13th most votes in class three. In class four, Central drops down to 7th and Perryville are receiving the 15th most votes. And in class five, Farmington are ranked 8th.
