McMillen, Sumpter, and XC Team Represent 2019 Festus Girls Track & Field

(FESTUS) The 2019 Festus girls track and field team returns two-time triple jump state qualifier Abby McMillen along with the bulk of the cross country team that finished 2nd at state this past season.

For McMillen, head coach Wes Armbruster believes that she is ready to make another run at qualifying for state and actually medaling after an ankle injury prevented her from doing so last season.

After the Seckman Invitational on Friday got canceled, the Festus track and field season will officially begin this Friday during the McCullough-Douglas Invitational, which was previously known as the Festus Early Bird Invitational. That meet will feature Herculaneum, Jefferson, and DeSoto.
