Mercy Hospital Jefferson to Host Summer Farmers’ Markets

(Festus/Crystal City) Mercy Hospital Jefferson is doing something fun to promote improved health. It’s the Mercy Jefferson Summer Farmers’ Market with the first event being held this Thursday afternoon from 2 until 4.
Alicia Evans is the Manager of Community Health and Access at Mercy Jefferson. She explains who is taking part and what visitors can expect when they arrive.
We asked Evans since the event is outside if there are any COVID related restrictions.
The summer farmers’ market events are going to be held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 2 until 4pm.
Other than this Thursday, the next farmers’ markets will be held on August 26th and September 9th and 23rd.
