Mercy Hospital – No Visitors Allowed Policy in Effect

(Festus/Crystal City) Taking effect on Monday, Mercy Hospital has implemented a no visitors allowed policy as a precautionary effort in trying prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the area.
Mercy Jefferson Community Relations Manager John Winkelman explains there are some exceptions to the policy.
Winkelman provides a local Mercy COVID-19 update.
Mercy Hospital has setup a drive-through COVID-19 test collection site at Mercy Virtual Care Center in Chesterfield.
A second test site was opened on Monday at Mercy Hospital Washington in Franklin County.
Mercy officials are currently working on setting up a third testing site at the Hillsboro Community Civic Club on the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
That location is expected to be open sometime later this week.
