Mercy Jefferson named one of best maternity hospitals once again

(Festus/Crystal City) For the second year in a row, Newsweek has named Mercy Hospital Jefferson one of the best maternity hospitals in the country, one of only 161 hospitals across the country to earn the highest “five ribbon” honor on the list.
Dr. Jacob Peyton is an OB/GYN and the chair of the Mercy Jefferson OB/GYN department.
He goes over what Newsweek considered when they create their list of best maternity hospitals.
