Mineral Area College Softball Hosts Jefferson College In Regular Season Finale On KREI

The Mineral Area College Lady Cardinals softball team will host the Jefferson Lady Vikings on Monday for a doubleheader to cap off the regular season for both teams. MAC enters with a 10-33-1 record on the year featuring a 4-12 campaign in Region 16 play.
Head coach Dave Guemmer explains what his team is working on as the Region 16 Tournament approaches this weekend.
On the side of JeffCo, the Lady Vikings have a 36-11 record while wielding an 11-5 mark in Region 16 play heading into the rivalry affair with MAC.
Jefferson College hosted and took both games of a doubleheader earlier this month against the Lady Cardinals, and will look to do so again featuring some strong pitching from freshman Kristina Bettis according to head coach Tony Cook.
We will have the first game of the doubleheader between Mineral Area College and Jefferson College on AM 800 KREI on Monday.
First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 with the Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show beginning at 1:45.
