Mineral Area Orioles and Potosi Pirates Meet for Afternoon Doubleheader on KREI

(Frankclay, Mo.) Familiar foes will take to the field in Frankclay this afternoon as the Mineral Area Orioles square off with the Potosi Pirates in a doubleheader on KREI.

The two teams met back in mid-June and split a doubleheader at Wilson Rozier Park in Farmington.

The Orioles come into the game 23-14-2 on the summer season.

O’s head coach Greg Turner says at this stage of the season, he wants his team to try to take two from Potosi.

The Pirates are currently 8-2 on the summer campaign.

Potosi head coach Jacob Swain says his team will need to execute at a high level to topple the Orioles.
