Mineral Point Man has Serious Injuries After A.T.V. Accident in Washington County

(Springtown) A man from Mineral Point received serious injuries after an A.T.V. accident Thursday evening in Washington County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on New Diggins Road at Huff Road, about midways between Springtown and Hopewell, when a 2002 Yamaha YFM-250 driven by 57-year-old Robert Drennen ran off the road edge, Drennen overcorrected and was thrown from the vehicle.
He was seriously injured and was taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.
