Missing elderly man found Tuesday night

(Festus) An elderly Festus area man went missing on Tuesday night, which prompted a Code Red alert from Jefferson County 911 Dispatch. Major Gary Higginbotham from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says the man was found pretty quickly after the alert was issued.
Major Higginbotham says the Jefferson County SWAT team will be called upon for many things, not just the dangerous scenarios.
The initial call for the missing man came in around 9 o’clock Tuesday night.
