(St. Mary, Mo.) Early predictions made it seem imminent for spring flooding on the Mississippi River but it never really happened. David Woods is the city manager for the town of St. Mary which floods every time the Mississippi gets above flood stage. However, he’s not upset about the bad call from experts about flooding.

Right now, there are some flood warnings for a stretch of the Mississippi River above St. Louis. However, it is only minor as waters are less than a foot above flood stage.
