Missouri Back to School Sales Tax Holiday Begins Today

(Farmington) Missouri’s Back-To-School sales tax holiday is now underway.

It runs through Sunday.

During this time, certain back-to-school buys such as school supplies, computers, clothing and other qualifying items are exempt from the Missouri state sales tax of 4-point-2 percent.

Local sales tax may still apply but counties and cities can participate as well.

You do not have to be a Missouri resident or student to take advantage.
