Missouri Breaking Coronavirus Record on Daily Basis Now

(Farmington) Missouri set another record yesterday (thursday) for the number of COVID-19 cases in one day.

The state reports 2,084 new people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Missouri, bringing the overall count to nearly 48,834 cases in the state since March.

Thirteen new deaths were also reported in the last 24 hours, with at least 1,233 Missourians dying from the virus.

The death count locally has Jefferson with 24, Franklin County 18, Perry 4, Cape Girardeau County 3, St. Francois 2 while Ste. Genevieve County and Washington County have one death apiece.
