(Jefferson City) Missouri is on pace to top 40-thousand newly recorded coronavirus cases in the month of July.
If that holds, it would be a 215-percent increase in reported cases over June.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services says the state has more than 564-thousand total cases since the COVID pandemic began.
Around two-point-nine million people are fully vaccinated while 58-and-a-half percent of eligible residents have received one shot.
