Missouri Governor Mobilizes National Guard

(Jefferson City) Governor Mike Parson has mobilized the Missouri National Guard to support the response to COVID-19.

Parson signed the executive order Friday saying he wants to be clear that the move doesn’t mean Missouri is under martial law.

The governor says the Guard will play a major role in supporting state and community operations, including potential support for testing and transporting equipment and supplies.
