Missouri Governor Signs Long-Term Care Camera Bill

(Jefferson City) A bill signed into law this week by Missouri’s governor allows long-term care facility patients to put video cameras in their rooms.

The measure requires a visible sign placed in rooms where video monitoring is occurring.

The device must be owned and operated by the resident or the resident’s legal guardian.
