(Farmington) Missouri has set another new record for confirmed COVID-19 cases for one day.

The state reported 936 new cases Tuesday, topping their previous one-day high of 795 set last Thursday.

Locally, Jefferson County now has 613 confirmed cases, St. Francois County 173, Perry 172, Bollinger and Washington counties have 27 cases each, Ste. Genevieve County has 25 reported cases, Crawford has 23, Reynolds has 10, Dent 9, Madison 7, Wayne 6 cases and Iron County has 3 confirmed cases of Covid-19.

As far as deaths go locally from the coronavirus, Jefferson County has 22, Perry County has 3, St. Francois County has 2 while Bollinger, Ste. Genevieve and Washington counties have one death each because of the virus.

Missouri as a whole has 28,826 confirmed cases with 1,093 deaths.
