(Farmington) A new analysis by Georgetown University says Missouri saw the biggest increase in the country in the rate of uninsured young children over the last two years.

After reaching it’s lowest rate this decade in 2016, the percentage of uninsured children younger than six rose from 3-point-6 percent to 5-point-3 percent between 2016 and 2018.

Missouri was one of 14 states with rates of uninsured children significantly higher than the national average rate of 4-point-3 percent.
