Missouri Legislature Fails to Pass Internet Sales Tax Again

(Jefferson City) The Missouri Legislature wrapped up its regular session for the year and lawmakers did not pass a proposed internet sales tax.
In 2018, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that states can collect an internet sales taxes from e-commerce companies that do not have a physical presence in their state.
Several states have enacted the tax but the Missouri Legislature has not been able to accomplish the feat.
