Missouri Nearing 2,000 Confirmed Covid-19 Cases with 19 Deaths

(Farmington) As of this afternoon at 3, there are now 1,834 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Missouri with 19 deaths.

There are still no virus-related deaths in the listening area.

Locally, there are 47 confirmed cases in Jefferson County, 20 in Perry County, 19 in Franklin, 15 in Cape Girardeau County, 10 in St. Francois, 6 in Ste. Genevieve County, Reynolds has 2 and Bollinger and Crawford counties have 1 case each.

The top 3 age groups acquiring the virus is 191 cases for those 50 to 54 years old, followed by 185 for the 55 to 59 age group and the 60 to 64 age group has 179 cases.

The age group with the least amount of cases in Missouri is those under 20 with 52 confirmed cases.

The U.S. as a whole now has more cases than any country with 234,462 double that of Italy, the country with the second most cases.

Italy still has the most deaths, now at 13,915.

The U.S. has the 3rd most deaths globally with 5,713.
