Missouri Republicans on the Cusp of Attempt to Undo Vote of the People with Another Vote of the People

(Jefferson City) In the midst of a statewide health emergency, a Missouri House committee led by Republicans, is considering this week whether to change the Clean Missouri redistricting ballot measure passed overwhelmingly by Missouri voters a couple years ago.

The Missouri Senate passed the proposed resolution at the state capitol earlier this week.

If the full legislature approves the proposal, Missouri voters will have to vote again to see whether the legislative redistricting process should be changed.

As the legislative session began, the Republican party made passing this measure their top priority.
