Missouri Schools Getting Money from CARES Act

(Jefferson City) The United States Department of Education informed the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education that it would be receiving money from the CARES Act.

Director Margie Vandeven shared the details today.

Vandeven explains where that money is going.

The schools that are in the most need will get the money first.

Her team filed a waiver to grant them more uses for money they already have.

School building remain closed until the end of the school year, but students are still learning from home.
