Missouri Seeks Federal Help In Dealing With COVID

(Jefferson City) Missouri is asking the federal government for help in dealing with a rise in COVID-19 cases in the state.

Governor Parson’s administration is seeking help from the new surge response teams formed by the White House.

The teams will focus on increasing vaccinations in communities with low vaccination rates who are fighting outbreaks.

The request comes as the more contagious delta variant of the coronavirus is spreading in Missouri.
