There’s another new law in Missouri. Senate Bill 40 modifies provisions relating to classes a person needs to take for statewide certification for certain professions. State Senator Holly Rehder of Scott City, who represents Reynolds, Iron, Madison, Perry and Bollinger counties, was the sponsor for the original piece of legislation.
State Senator Tracy McCreery of St. Louis County was able to add a helpful piece to the new law.
The Missouri State Legislature is now looking to the next regular legislative session at the state capitol. Lawmakers have been able to pre-file billsĀ for next year since July 1st. These pre-filed bills will then start to receive their official bill numbers on December 1st.
