(Jefferson City) The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education announced yesterday school districts would not have to administer state standardized tests this year.
Margie Vandeven, Missouri Education Commissioner, took to twitter.
Vandeven believes school districts need to focus on the students and communities they serve.
This comes in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak causing all 555 school districts and charter schools in Missouri to close.
