(Jefferson County) With Halloween less than three weeks away, authorities are reminding motorists to be cautious when driving through areas where children and known to trick or treat.

Corporal Logan Bolton with the Missouri State Highway Patrol says it’s something they stress every year at this time.

In addition, Bolton mentions it’s a good idea to always check the candy before eating it.

Some cities in Jefferson County have set times in which trick or treating is allowed on Halloween.
