Missouri State Highway Patrol talks Trick or Treating safety

(Jefferson County) With Halloween less than two weeks away authorities are reminding motorists to be cautious when driving through areas where children and known to trick or treat.

Juston Wheetley with the Missouri State Highway Patrol says it’s something they stress every year at this time.

Wheetley mentions it’s a good idea to always check the candy before eating it.

Some cities in Jefferson County have set times in which trick or treating is allowed on Halloween.
