Missouri Supreme Court Sets Date for State’s Next Execution of Convicted Murderer – Date Corrected

(Bonne Terre) A man convicted of murder in Cass County who received a death sentence has been scheduled to be executed by the State of Missouri this spring.

The Missouri Supreme Court set the date of May 19th at 6 p.m. for Walter Barton to be put to death.

The execution will be carried out at the prison in Bonne Terre.
