Missouri Surpasses a Thousand Confirmed Covid-19 Cases with 13 Deaths

(Farmington) As of 10 o’clock this morning, there are now 1,031 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Missouri with 13 deaths.

There have been no deaths yet in the listening area. Locally, there are 18 confirmed cases in Jefferson County, 13 in Cape Girardeau County, 12 in Perry, 7 in Franklin, 5 in St. Francois, 2 in Ste. Genevieve County and Bollinger, Crawford and Reynolds counties each have 1 case.

Gender breakdown for the state shows cases are split pretty evenly between males and females.

The top 3 age groups acquiring the virus is 115 cases for those 50 to 54 years old, followed by 107 for the 55 to 59 age group and the 20 to 24 age group has 105 cases.

The age group with the least amount of cases in Missouri, believe it or not, is those 75 to 79 with only 34 confirmed cases.

The U.S. as a whole now has more cases than any country with 164,719. Italy still has the most deaths, now at 11,591.

The U.S. has the 4th most deaths globally with 3,163.
