Mizzou Improves To 16-5 After Upset Over #12 Iowa State

(Columbia) The Missouri Tiger men’s basketball team won both of their games last week in dominating fashion. Mizzou beat 12th ranked Iowa State and Ole Miss by double digits while shooting a combined 30-of-60 from three point range. This is after Mizzou shot 18-of-97 from beyond the arc in four games prior to last week. Head coach Dennis Gates said the message to his team was simple.

Senior guard Kobe Brown was exceptional last week, averaging 19 points and 7 rebounds in the two victories. Gates said he was well rested after sitting out the Alabama game.
