The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is teaming up with federal wildlife and forest agencies to restore the natural beauty and integrity of Crooked and Huzzah Creeks.

Eric Gramlich with the DNR says they will be holding an informational meeting Thursday, December 12th in Steelville.

Gramlich says the biggest reason for the meeting is to communicate with land owners in the Meramec Watershed about what would work best for them and any livestock they may own.

The informational meeting will begin at 6 on the evening of Thursday, December 12th at the Steelville Public Library on 4th Street in Steelville.
