MODOT Issuing Special Permits To Truckers

(Jefferson City) The Missouri Department of Transportation is issuing permits to allow trucks to haul up to 100 thousand pounds on highways and interstates. Brian Okenfuss is an engineer with MODOT. He says it’s because of the coronavirus.
Okenfuss says a copy of the special permit and a bill of lading must be in the possession of the operator of the overweight vehicle during its operation.
