MoDOT Prepping for Winter

(Jefferson County) The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is preparing for the upcoming winter months.

MoDOT Engineer Stephen O’Connor says crews are training this week with snow plows and driving snow routes.

The salt supplies for the winter looks good right now.

O’Connor adds during times of winter weather, people can always get the latest road updates by looking at MoDOT’s traveler map.

That’s the best way to determine if roads are clear or covered with winter precipitation.
