MoDOT’s “No More Trash Bash” going on all month long

(Jefferson County) Ongoing all month long, the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is hosting its “No More Trash Bash”.

MoDOT Engineer Stephen O’Connor says the month is dedicated in providing information about helping clean state roads and tips to prevent trash build up roadside.

O’Connor mentions trash piles up quickly roadside over the winter months.

MoDOT will provide trash bags and safety vests to volunteers.

Adopt-A-Highway groups will also be picking up their sections of roadway.

More than 53-hundred volunteer groups have adopted 64-hundred miles across Missouri.
