More stolen vehicles that were left running to warm up in Jefferson County

(Hillsboro, Fenton, Festus) The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate cases of stolen vehicles that were left running with the keys inside. Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell says one case took place in the 4800 block of Romaine Springs in Fenton on November 15th.
The Chevy Traverse has not been recovered.
Another vehicle, a 2015 Dodge Ram pickup was stolen while left running at the ZX gas station on Highway CC near Festus on November 17th.
While the truck was recovered, those responsible for the stolen truck have not been apprehended.
