Murder Suspect Captured

(Farmington) An area woman charged with first degree murder has been brought into custody.

According to the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Departments Facebook page, 29 year old Megan Cole was captured locally in St. Francois County.

She had been charged in March of 2020 with first degree murder, armed criminal action, tampering With physical evidence in felony prosecution and abandonment of a corpse.

She had been on the loose since the middle of June.

Cole, who is from Farmington, was arrested without incident.
