Murder Trial Set in Iron County for Man Accused of Murder in Davisville

(Ironton) A Davisville man, accused of murder in Crawford County, had his trial set last Friday in Iron County on a change of venue from Crawford County.

62-year-old Michael Jodon faces second degree murder from the December 2014 beating death of 46-year-old Michael Sletten, a handicapped man who lived at Jodon’s residence in Davisville off ‘V’ Highway.

The jury trial is going to be January 10th through the 13th of 2022 with November 4th of this year his last chance to plea bargain his case.

Jodon’s wife was also arrested in relation to the case.

38-year-old Rhonda Jodon pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child and received three years of supervised probation.

Her 13-year-old son was apparently home at the time of the alleged murder.
