(Festus) It was a back-and-forth game between the Jefferson Bluejays and Valle Catholic Warriors volleyball teams tonight. The Bluejays won the first two sets, but the Warriors would regroup and rally. Valle took the next three sets convincingly and won the matchup. Head Coach Nancy Fischer gives credit to her players for taking charge to lead the comeback.

Not only was it a resilient victory for an undefeated Valle Catholic squad, but this win also marked the 800th for Nancy Fischer’s career; making her 2nd all-time in Missouri High School volleyball history.

Fischer says this isn’t just an accomplishment for her, but an accomplishment for all that have been involved in the Valle Catholic volleyball program.

The Warriors improve to 6-0 on the season and take on Poplar Bluff and Kennet tomorrow and Lesterville Saturday in the Saint Francis Healthcare Dig For Life Challenge.
