(Festus) Current Festus R-6 Assistant School Superintendent Nathan Holder will be leaving the district to become the new Assistant Superintendent for Business Services at the Lee’s Summit School District. Holder says it’s certainly tough to leave Festus, but the opportunity is too good to pass up.
Holder says the Lee’s Summit school district, which is located outside of Kansas City, is one of the largest school districts in the state.
Holder has been with the Festus School District since 2013. Prior to Festus, he was the Superintendent of the Steeleville School District. Festus schools hope to have a replacement recommendation for the school board in April.
