National Weather Service Gives Cold Weather Preparedness Tips
The weather forecast is calling for dangerously low temperatures over the next few days. Brad Charboneau  is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in St. Louis. He says it’s important to protect yourself from the elements, especially if you plan to be outside for long period of time.

Charboneau advises you to bring your outdoor pets inside until the temperatures come back up.

Other ways to prepare for the cold include letting faucets on the lower level of your home stay on with a drip, and to keep cold weather gear in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
