National Weather Service On Mild Start To January

(Farmington) After dealing with bitterly cold weather to wrap up 2022, the new year has gotten off to a relatively mild start in terms of the temperature. Melissa Byrd is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in St. Louis. She tells us what happened to bring about the warmer weather.

Byrd says you can expect this weather pattern to hang around for awhile. High temperatures through at least next Wednesday are expected to top out in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. We could see a little rain but no snow or ice is expected.
