National Weather Service to Host Spotter Talk Class in Jefferson County

(Jefferson County) The National Weather Service along with the Jefferson County Emergency Management Agency will be holding a weather spotter training class on Thursday, February 6th at the Jefferson County Emergency Operations Center in Herculaneum.

Jina Akins is the Deputy Director of the Jefferson County Emergency Management Agency. She says people who attend the class will walk away with a wealth of weather knowledge.

Akins adds why it’s so important to become a severe weather spotter.

The spotter training class will begin at 7 in the evening on Thursday, February 6th.
