Nearly 350 File For State Offices

(Jefferson City) Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft says 349 candidates filed during Tuesday’s opening day to run in Missouri’s August primary election.
Of the candidates filed, 215 are registered Republicans, 125 Democrats, six Libertarian, one green and one Constitution party.
Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe was among the G-O-P candidates filing for re-election.
