(BISMARCK, Mo.) – Bismarck Indians softball coach Josh Hagerty will have some added responsibilities starting this school year. Hagerty is set to take over as the school’s new athletic director, taking over for Katie Martinez who is entering her new role as high school principal. Hagerty has taught and coached at Bismarck for 18 years and said he hopes to be just as effective as the school’s previous athletic directors.
Over his years teaching and coaching, Hagerty said he’s enjoyed seeing his students and players grow.
The athletic program is also growing this fall. Hagerty said the school is fielding boys and girls cross-country teams this season.
Hagerty said Abe Warren and Colin Eaton will be running both cross-country programs. The Bismarck volleyball and baseball teams will also be in action this fall.
