New Budget Approved for City of Fredericktown

(Fredericktown) A new fiscal year budget was approved at this week’s Fredericktown City Council meeting.

Mayor Travis Parker describes some of the highlights of this new budget, which goes into effect on Saturday.

In other news from this week’s Fredericktown City Council meeting, the go ahead was given to purchase soccer goals for five fields at the sports complex.

This will allow the sports complex to host soccer tournaments to go along with baseball and softball tournaments starting next year.

Also, Police Chief Eric Hovis was given permission to attend the MIRMA Police Seminar at the Lake of the Ozarks Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
