(IMPERIAL) Jason Gillman thinks that the transition from Hillsboro boys basketball assistant coach to head coach of Windsor boys basketball is going awesomely. Gillman and the Owls are working towards an improved 2019 after last year’s team under Todd Dutton went 10-16.

There are several returning pieces from that squad last season and they are Sonny Amabile, Norman Alford, Pierce Hartmann, and Grant Siegel. Gillman shares his thoughts on that foursome.

Coach Gillman is also looking forward to having 6-foot-7 forward Jared Tanner and 6-foot-5 forward Matt Martin a part of his every game lineup.

The message from Coach Gillman to his players all offseason has been to take care of the things you can control.

The Owls have a jamboree on Thursday as they take on Rockwood Summit at Summit at 6 p.m. and then face Marquette at 6:45 p.m. The Windsor Owls tip-off their 2019-2020 season on Monday, December 2nd in the Southside Classic at Hancock High School in St. Louis.
