New Judge Appointed for Murder Case Against Davisville Man

(Ironton) A Davisville man, accused of murder in Crawford County, will get a new judge in his case which is being heard in Iron County after a change of venue.

Michael Jodon had Judge Kelly Parker removed from his case and Judge Jerel Poor will now preside over the case.

As of now, Jodon awaits a new court date.

The 62-year-old Jodon is charged with second degree murder in the December 2014 beating death of 46-year-old Michael Sletten, a handicapped man.

Jodon’s wife was also arrested in the case.

40-year-old Rhonda Jodon was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Her 13-year-old son was apparently home at the time of the alleged murder.

She has already been sentenced to three years of supervised probataion after pleading guilty to her charge.

The charge against Rhonda Jodon was related to the alleged unsanitary living conditions at their Davisville home off ‘V’ Highway in southern Crawford County.
